BRIKEN Group’s experienced high voltage operators support clients with switching, permit holding, creating switching instructions, handling breakdowns, call outs, and planned HV down days.

 

High Voltage Switching Process:

 

Site Analysis: Conducting a site visit to analyse circuitry and determine the switching sequence required for effective isolation.

 

Planning and Instructions: Developing and writing switching instructions to minimise business impact and ensure a safe working environment.

 

Execution: Qualified high voltage operators execute instructions according to our Arc Flash policy, wearing rated Arc Flash suits.

 

Certification and Permits: Certifying the area as safe and issuing permits for staff to return to work once the switching process is completed and earth switches are operated.
